Ariana Grande's waxwork figure at Madame Tussauds Orlando has left fans divided.
Wax sculptures of celebrities don't always go to plan, with figures such as rapper Nicki Minaj and Games of Thrones' mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen having not gone unscathed in the past.
I have yet to visit the tourist attraction, as quite frankly, seeing hundreds of waxy figures standing stiff in different corners of the room, staring straight through my soul reminds me just a bit too much of the weeping angels from Doctor Who that haunted my childhood.

However, the Florida museum's latest addition, of god is a woman singer Ariana Grande, is one that likely needs to be seen in person before it can be fully judged because of how utterly confused it has left social media users.
The model of the singer, wearing an outfit inspired by her Sweetener tour, is on display at the ICON Park attraction's music room amid a scene from 7 Rings, a song released as part of 2019 album Thank U Next, Billboard reports.
The waxwork shows Grande wearing a pink two-piece composed of a bralette and skirt, a pink puffer jacket, and wearing her hair in her signature high ponytail. Alongside her iconic winged eyeline, the waxwork also details all of the singer's tattoos, fake nails and rings, with the two-piece outfit completed with a matching choker.

The museum announced: 'Madame Tussauds Orlando is celebrating the arrival of Ariana Grande’s newest (and most iconic to date) wax figure in true Ari fashion. The figure’s first stop was Orlando’s newest hot spot, Lake Nona Wave Hotel. The eclectic and high-tech lifestyle hotel set the scene for the figure’s Florida debut with poolside craft cocktails and vibrant decor – guaranteed to pass the vibe check of any ‘Arianator.’
'After capturing the perfect collection of gorgeously ‘grammable’ moments, it was “Thank You, Next,” as the fabulous wax figure headed to its permanent home at the world’s greatest wax museum.'
According to WFTV, Grande's sculpture took six months to complete and was created by a group of sculptors, studio artists and designers in London.

However, despite the time and effort which went into the model, not all social media users have been left convinced.
One user was not a fan and didn't seem to think it resembled the singer at all. They stated: 'If u squint really hard and put the picture like 30 feet away and u turn it upside down, it looks exactly like her.'
Another user took the time to edit the photograph to make it look more like the star, noting that the face on the waxwork 'would've been more accurate with a shorter face'.
A third summed up the confusion perfectly. They wrote: 'I don’t know how to feel about this, it’s kinda good but it’s also bad at the same time.'

So while the model of Grande may – similarly to the singer – be vegan, that is apparently where most of the resemblance ends according to some social media users.
