Kelly Rowland and a security guard appeared to have a tense moment as the star entered the Cannes Film Festival.
Music star Kelly Rowland was all smiles as she entered the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 21) and the next she seemed very frustrated.
A video has begun circulating on social media showing the former Destiny’s Child star appearing to be in a heated exchange with one of the security guards at the event.

In the clip, Rowland is seen walking up the stairs, gracefully posing and smiling for photographers as multiple security members then usher her and the other guests up the stairs.
The video has begun to circulate on X with many questioning what caused the issue.
While the audio isn’t clear from the video, some viewers have speculated the altercation may have started after the security member stepped on the hem of Rowland’s stunning red dress.

Others have suggested it may have been due to the way in which one particular security member was escorting the star up the stairs, as many noted the security woman is seen holding her hands up and walking behind Rowland.
Meanwhile, some people have simply suggested the security woman may have said something to Rowland - or to the male security guard standing to the singer's right - to seemingly set her off.
Moments later, Rowland is seen talking to the security woman, now pointing her finger in her face to really illustrate her point.

While it isn’t clear which of these issues caused the altercation, some people have simply said it might actually be a combination of all of the issues.
Rowland has not yet addressed the apparent incident online, with her latest Instagram post showing her posing in her gown.
She wrote: "Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Thank you… @kilianparis for having me!!

UNILAD has contacted the Cannes Film Festival and Kelly Rowland’s representatives for comment.
Another face that graced the red carpet was James Franco, who made a rare appearance at Cannes after years of controversies.
He was there due to the impending release of his latest flick, The Razor's Edge, which will be his newest project since his voice-acting role in the 2019 film, Arctic Dogs.
