Braison Cyrus has spoken out after his brother issued a public plea for 'help' for their father.
The Cyrus family are apparently in a bit of a rift after Trace Cyrus said he is 'genuinely worried' about his dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who is also the father to Grammy-Award winning artist Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Braison Cyrus, Brandi Cyrus, and Christopher Cyrus.
Trace penned his thoughts about the 'Achey Breaky Heart' hitmaker in a heartbreaking public letter on Instagram, which read in part: "Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you."
The public post came after the country singer delivered a questionable performance during President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony on Monday (January 20) that was marred by IT issues.

The 35-year-old and former Metro Station guitarist went on with 'tears' in his eyes to claim Billy Ray has 'pushed' the family away and that his younger sister, Noah, 'deserves better'.
"We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew and hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy Dad and everyone is noticing it," he continued.
Trace confessed he hadn't spoken to his father in some time while he personally reached a major milestone of 18 months sober from alcohol, but stressed his post came of a place of love.

Now, Braison, who has been working on new music with his father, appears to have weighed in on the matter.
The 30-year-old told PEOPLE: "I don't have any bad feelings towards anyone in my family.
"I've spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have," he continued. "I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has."
"It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it. Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad, so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavour."

This statement comes as Braison's 63-year-old father had appeared to extend an olive branch to his adopted son by sharing a YouTube clip of him and Trace performing his 2009 record, 'Somebody Said a Prayer'.
Billy Ray wrote in the caption that he was 'praying' for his family and said: "Let this moment be the start of healing for us all," with a bandaged heart emoji to boot.
However, days later, Trace revealed that his letter was not well-received at all, as the father-of-six has allegedly threatened legal action against him.

Trace wrote on Instagram: "Dad my message was beyond loving.
"I could have been extremely honest about a lot more but I don’t want to put your business out there like that. But for you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace."
He concluded his scathing post, saying: "Pappy is looking down at you with such disappointment I can assure you. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will always love you but I no longer respect you as a man. Everyone close to you is terrified to tell you how they really feel. I’m not. Get help."

Meanwhile, Miley is apparently steering clear of any possible conflict with the family as she faces bagging yet another Grammy at the 2025 awards on Sunday.
UNILAD previously contacted Billy Ray's reps for comment.
